Elyssa Papa worked as a high school English teacher before turning to writing full-time. She has a B.A. in English Literature and a minor in Drama from St. Michael’s College, where she acted in a professional production, directed plays, wrote, and studied Drama in London. Her highlight of her London trip was not visiting the monuments or museums, but seeing Colin Firth act onstage. Elyssa also earned a Master’s in Secondary Education and taught English at an inner city high school. While there, Elyssa created curriculum for a new program, incorporated the Creative Arts into her classes, and produced award-nominated high school plays. She lives in Upstate New York and is currently working on her next novel.
